Our client in the US is seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Project Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications for multifamily kitchen projects. This role involves calculating material and labor costs, coordinating with suppliers, providing value engineering options, and collaborating closely with project managers and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to accurately estimate project requirements.
  • Calculate material and labor costs based on project scope and specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
  • Provide value engineering options to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers and sales teams to ensure accurate project planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an estimator in multifamily kitchen projects.
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
  • Ability to coordinate with suppliers and negotiate pricing effectively.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
