Golden Home Care are looking for Live-In / Companion Carers in Northern ,Southern Suburbs and Stellenbosch area to join the team in Cape Town.

Requirements:

  • Essential Valid Code 08/B Driving License
  • Experience driving an automatic and manual vehicle
  • Health Care Training Certificates
  • ID/Passport
  • Valid Right to Work
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience, with an added advantage of Dementia experience
  • Available to start immediately.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring that Clients receive the highest quality of care
  • Providing support with household tasks such as general tidying, dusting and making beds
  • Prepare light meals according to the Client's preference
  • Manage Clients medication which includes ordering and collecting medication as well as prompting medication
  • Escort and drive Clients to go shopping, run errands, to see their friends and other social activities
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion

Working Hours : Live- in (Monday - Sunday), Working on a rotation of 1 week on, 1 week off.

Rate: R430 per day - Paid monthly salary

Skills and Attributes - Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, fluent in English, proactive, organisational skills, be able to converse with people on different levels. The incumbent should be mature, well presented and professional.
