Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor located in Durban. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting with cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and managing project costs throughout all phases. Day-to-day tasks include cost planning, cost reporting, and contributing to cost management activities to ensure project efficiency and budget adherence.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Cost Control and Cost Management
  • Proficiency in preparing BOQ (Bills of Quantities)
  • Skills in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bsc Hons degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Prior experience in construction or property development projects is a plus but not a prerequisite
