YOUR ROLE

The Emulsion Specialist is responsible for the preparation, production, and quality control of emulsions used in beverage manufacturing. The role ensures emulsions are produced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with product specifications and company quality standards. The position supports consistent product quality, process optimization, and compliance with food safety requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare and produce emulsions according to approved formulations, batch sheets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Accurately weigh, mix, and process raw materials including flavours, oils, stabilizers, and emulsifiers.

· Operate and monitor high-shear mixers, homogenizers, and other emulsification equipment.

· Conduct in-process quality checks (e.g., pH, viscosity, appearance) to ensure batch conformance.

· Complete production records and maintain traceability of all materials and batches.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all processing equipment and work areas in line with GMP standards.

· Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for off-spec batches or production issues.

· Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure emulsions meet all release and safety requirements.

· Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, including PPE and chemical handling procedures.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with process optimization.

YOUR EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

· Diploma or Degree in
Food Technology
,
Chemical Engineering
,
Chemistry
, or
Process Technology
would be beneficial.

· years' experience in
beverage
,
flavour
, or
liquid processing
operations.

· Practical knowledge of
emulsification
,
homogenization
, and
mixing systems
.

· Familiarity with
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
,
HACCP
, and food safety requirements.

· Basic analytical testing ability (pH, viscosity, appearance).

· Computer literacy, including experience with SAP or other production data systems.

· Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.

· Ability to follow technical instructions and SOPs accurately.

· Capable of working under pressure and meeting production targets.
