About the role:

The Driver & General Maintenance Assistant is responsible for delivering safe, reliable transport services for staff, visitors, and company deliveries, while also ensuring that the office premises and equipment are well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties

  • Safely transport staff, guests, and goods to and from designated locations.
  • Plan and coordinate all trips efficiently, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of company vehicles at all times.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks (oil, water, tyres, fuel, etc.).
  • Report mechanical issues or incidents immediately and coordinate repairs.
  • Ensure all vehicle licensing, registration, and service schedules are kept up to date.

General Maintenance Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on the premises (e.g., plumbing, painting, carpentry, minor electrical work).
  • Assist with meeting room setups, furniture moves, and general office rearrangements.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the premises, including outdoor and parking areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance requirements or potential safety hazards.
  • Liaise with external contractors or service providers for specialised work.
  • Support with deliveries, stock movement, and inventory management of office supplies.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence, Code 8 or higher (Essential)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a driver/ handyman(non negotiable)
  • Must reside no more than 30 minutes from Bryanston.
    (non negotiable)
  • Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facility support.
  • Willingness and ability to work after-hours or on weekends when required.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

Must be available to commence mid January or February 2026
