A family is looking for an AU PAIR / TUTOR for their daughter

Area: Victory Park

Child's Age: 11 year old – Girl(Grade 6)

Child's Neurodivergence Snapshot: ADHD and anxiety – she did have her first panic attack and has been put on medication for her anxiety - but is a great girl She is easy going, full of life and just needs someone she can build trust in and rely on.

Support Style: She sees a remedial teacher 2 x week to focus on English and Maths. Medicated for both ADHD and Anxiety. Mom is looking into a therapist for her to see weekly too.

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 14:00 – 18:00 (slightly flexible around extra murals)

School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible

Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, take her to extra lessons or any therapies. Someone who can do revision with her daily, provide support on her level, provide structure and can teach her how to study.

Special Requirements: The au pair needs to have a good knowledge of maths and English, study skills, organisational skills. Perhaps someone with a teaching degree years old, 3 years' experience. Tutoring and Special Needs experience is required.

Start Date and contract term: 13 January – permanent

Salary: R10 500pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

****Must have a clear criminal record

****Must have a passion for children

****Must have Matric

****Must have a South African ID document.
