Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP OpenText Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and support of OpenText

solutions integrated with SAP systems. This role is critical for managing enterprise content, automating document workflows, and

ensuring compliance with banking regulations and audit requirements.

Minimum requirement

Design and implement OpenText solutions integrated with SAP (e.g., Vendor Invoice Management, Extended ECM, Archive Centre).

Collaborate with finance, procurement, and compliance teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored document management

solutions.

Configure document workflows, archiving strategies, and metadata models.

Ensure seamless integration between OpenText and SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, HR).

Support data migration, document digitization, and archival processes.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., POPIA, GDPR, SOX).

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Create and maintain technical documentation and user training materials.

Lead and mentor junior consultants and support staff.

Requirements

Experience and skill

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years of experience in SAP and OpenText implementations.

Strong knowledge of OpenText products: VIM, Extended ECM, Archive Centre, Document Access.

Experience with SAP integration (S/4HANA or ECC).

Understanding of document lifecycle management and compliance requirements.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time.

Certification

OpenText and SAP certifications.

Experience in banking or financial services environments.

Familiarity with South African data protection and financial compliance regulations.

Exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Mandatory

Experience with OpenText solutions and working in a Banking industry

Familiarity with South African banking procurement regulations and compliance standards.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
