Are you a data-driven professional with a strong background in scorecards, predictive modelling, and credit risk? We're looking for a Model Validation Analyst (Decision Science) to join a high-impact team that ensures the accuracy, robustness, and governance of models in a leading financial environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical expertise while gaining exposure across credit risk, finance, capital modelling, and fraud detection. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy combining analytics with problem-solving, collaborating across teams, and building challenger models that truly influence decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent validations of models across multiple domains.
  • Develop and test challenger models to benchmark and enhance existing models.
  • Analyse, monitor, and challenge scorecards, ensuring that they are accurate, reliable, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with modelling and business teams to provide technical oversight and effective challenges.
  • Support sound financial decision-making, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Education: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science.
  • Experience:
    • 3–6 years' experience in scorecard building, development, validation, and monitoring (credit risk or marketing models).
    • Experience with data mining and predictive modelling.
  • Skills:
    • Solid understanding of the credit lifecycle.
    • A collaborative approach and strong communication skills for working with both technical and business teams.
