Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Representative - Valves, based in Benoni. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of valve products, building and maintaining existing and new customer relationships, and prospecting new leads in the assigned territory. The role also includes maintaining accurate sales records, and liaising with technical teams to ensure customer needs are met. Regular travel to customer sites will be required..
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills, including business development, lead generation, account management, and negotiations
- Product knowledge and technical understanding of valves and their applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Salesforce (CRM), whilst not compulsory will be advantageous.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and deadlines
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and provide actionable solutions
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma or equivalent experience in engineering, business management, or a related field
- Experience in the water, mineral processing, or related industries is an advantage
