Location: Johannesburg

Scatterlings Conference & Events, the leading Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) in Southern Africa, is looking for a 
dynamic, driven, and experienced Senior Conference Manager
 to join our dynamic team and deliver world-class local and international conferences.

 About the Role

We are looking for a 
dynamic, driven, and passionate
 individual—a true self-starter with exceptional leadership skills—to lead conference teams and deliver flawless events. The ideal candidate will bring depth of experience in 
Association conferences
, strong project and stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.

  • What You'll Do:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Association conferences (local and international)
  • Manage conference project timelines, budgets, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Oversee delegate services, programme management, abstracts, sponsorship & exhibition, and logistical planning.
  • Lead and mentor a project team to ensure consistently high standards across all phases of event delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, committees, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the Scatterlings team.

 What we're looking for

  • Minimum 7 years
     professional conference organising experience, with a 
    strong focus on Association conferences
    .
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder conference projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and ability to work under pressure.
  • A working understanding of EventsAir is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally when required.
