Emeris Nelson Mandela Bay has a vacancy for a Lecturer in the following module:

Economics

Key Performance Areas:

  • Lecturing/Facilitation
  • Marking
  • Student support

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideal:

  • Honours in Economics

Alternatively:

  • Honours degree in one of the Business-related fields with Economics to third year level.
  • Bachelor degree with Economics or a similar related field to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

  • Lecturing experience in Economics is critical due to the nature and complexity of this module
  • Work or lecturing experience as an econometrician or consultant in this field.
  • Work experience as an economist

Working Conditions:

  • Please note that this is an independent contractor position.
  • Please note that lectures take place between 08:20 and 16:45 on weekdays.
  • Classes are conducted face–to–face on campus.
