Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented VW Engine Technician to join our dedicated team at [ON-POINT MOBILE MECHANICS]. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in petrol engine repair and maintenance, working alongside seasoned technicians to ensure our clients VW engine operate at peak performance.

Responsibilities

Assist in the diagnosis and repair of petrol engines e.g VW including both mechanical and electrical systems

Participate in preventive maintenance programs to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards

Support experienced technicians by conducting inspections, tests, and repairs

Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and troubleshoot engine performance problems

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs

Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while in the workplace

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

High school or equivalent

Basic mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Previous experience VW engines or coursework in automotive or diesel technology

Familiarity with tools and equipment used in engine repair

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Basic understanding of petrol vw engine systems including fuel injection, ignition, and exhaust

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting

Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a workplace environment
