Millwright - Bakery

• To attend to reports of breakdowns and equipment failure on the premises or anywhere that may be required of you timeously. 

• To install new equipment and fixtures, removing the old equipment and dispose of according to Company rule and regulations.

• To ensure correct root cause analysis is performed on all breakdown related issues

• Reduce engineering downtime in the production areas through effective and applied maintainence processes.   

• To be responsible for the completion and filing of job cards for all work done.

• To maintain world class engineering standards during the course of their duties

• Comply within the OHS act requirements on all safety standards

• To assist in in the upgrade and pending projects in the plant.

• All associates shall have responsibility to report identified problems with the food safety management system.

• Designated associates shall have defined responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.

• Participate in all workshop activities related to 5S housekeeping

• Qualified Millwright

• Qualified Electrician would be an advantage

• Minimum 3 years work experience

• Experience in bakery plant would be an advantage 

• Flexibility – ability to work shifts

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

• Demonstrated mechanical and spatial aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment
