Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Corporate Finance Analyst based in Johannesburg, with the flexibility to work from home on certain days. The Corporate Finance Analyst will be responsible for conducting deep research on targets, clients and their markets, on behalf of our clients, preparing investor and board packs, preparing and analysing dynamic financial models, preparing comprehensive valuations, and providing data-driven insights to support key business decisions. Additional responsibilities include curating general market intelligence, investment evaluation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our own and our clients' organisational growth objectives.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • High degree of proficiency in Financial Modeling, and understanding of Finance principles
  • Experience with analysing and preparing Financial Statements
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel and other relevant platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CA or CFA are required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
