Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and qualified
Coach/Van Mechanics
to join leading transport and fleet maintenance companies in Ireland. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing buses, coaches, and vans to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform
  routine maintenance
  (oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing).
• Diagnose and repair
  mechanical and electrical faults
  using diagnostic tools.
• Service and maintain
  engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, exhaust systems, and air conditioning units
  .
• Carry out
  preventative maintenance
  and scheduled inspections.
• Attend
  roadside breakdowns
  and provide on-site repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent.
• Ensure compliance with
  Health & Safety standards
  and manufacturer specifications.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized.

Requirements

• Fully qualified mechanic
  (National Craft Certificate or equivalent).
• Minimum
  3–5 years' experience
  working on heavy vehicles, buses, or coaches.
• Strong knowledge of
  diesel engines
  and modern diagnostic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license
  (Category C/D preferred).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• Experience with
  HGV or PSV vehicles
  .
• Familiarity with
  electrical systems and diagnostics
  .
