Job Advert Summary

Eduvos is looking to employ a Administrator Academic System and Student Data on a permanent basis at any of our National campuses.

Type of role:

Permanent

Purpose of the role:

To support the maintenance of the academic system; and to do functional analyses and reports on student data.

Minimum Requirements
  • Higher Certificate preferably a 3-year Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years' administrative experience in data administration in the higher education environment
Duties and Responsibilities

Query Resolution - First line of response for queries received and cases logged pertaining to Student Data or the Academic Management System (SIM):

  • Troubleshoot and rectify query received
  • Escalate queries as per SOP
  • Provide user response timeously, maintaining confidentiality, unquestionable integrity.

Maintenance of student data - collaborate with campuses to ensure that data pertaining to students are accurate:

  • Collection of data, investigation with data errors fixes (via comparisons), reporting
  • Develop and maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation for academic management systems.
  • User acceptance testing on implementations of new system applications

Analysis and Reporting on Data:

  • Data Analytics Reports as per department needs
  • Collecting and interpreting data
  • Analysing results
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Support in defining new data collection and analysis processes
Functional and Behavioural Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS office suite
  • Data capturing skills
  • Highly ethical approach – strong focus on compliance / adhering to policies and procedures
  • Ability to provide basic technical support
  • Ability to do basic analysis and functional reporting on student data
