DescriptionThe Ignite IT Facilitator will maintain good classroom management, implement the Ignite programme through facilitation and perform all administration requirements.
ResponsibilitiesProgramme Implementation:
- Create weekly lesson plans guided by the head of pillars and report the plan to the Ignite manager a per the standard.
- Evaluate completed lessons by the learners on LMS on a daily basis.
- Support and assist on weekend activities such as Saturday educational support classes as and when needed.
- Conduct the Base-line and End-line assessments.
- Prepare the facilitation material before each class.
Administration:
- Attend and participate in Ignite staff meetings.
- Attend and participate learning and sharing workshops.
- Issue administration forms to parents and guide accordingly.
- Submit daily attendance registers to the Ignite Manager for approval to be sent to the Data Capturer.
- Monitor the attendance of learners to identify learners qualifying for deregistration as per the criteria and submit the nominations to the Ignite manager accordingly.
- Maintain good communication channels with Ignite parents.
- Maintain and promote learners' academic performance through the collection and analysis of school progress reports and provide support where needed.
- Submit monthly reports and weekly highlights report to the Ignite manager.
- Escalate learner related matters to the Ignite manager timeously and following the proper procedure.
Classroom management:
- Promote learning in a well-disciplined classroom.
- Keep a clean learning environment.
- Keep record of all learning materials (assets) used and ensure that they are all accounted for.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NQF level 4 CYC, Diploma in IT, Diploma in Performing Arts/ Music/Visual Arts/Dance.
- IT facilitation experience.
