Job Purpose:
The Junior Property Management Administrator provides administrative support to the property management team and assists with the daily operations of managed properties. This role is ideal for a candidate starting their career in property administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Assist with filing, capturing, and maintaining tenant and property records
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with general enquiries
- Prepare basic correspondence and notices
- Schedule appointments, inspections, and meetings
Tenant & Owner Support:
- Assist tenants and owners with routine queries
- Log service and maintenance requests and follow up with contractors
- Assist with move-in and move-out administration
Financial Administration (Support Level):
- Assist with capturing invoices, statements, and payments
- Follow up on outstanding rentals, levies, and rates as instructed
- Assist with basic reporting and record keeping
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
Skills & Attributes:
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Professional and polite manner
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well in a team environment
Advantageous (Not Essential):
- Previous administrative or office experience
- Exposure to property management or real estate
- Basic accounting knowledge
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
