Internship: Graduate Computer Vision Engineer

We are excited to announce our Graduate Computer Vision Engineer Internship Programme – a 6-month internship designed especially for recent graduates. In this role, you will be reporting to the Global Manager and Lead AI Engineer while receiving dedicated mentorship and formal training from senior team members. You'll have the chance to develop your skills on AI-driven projects within the security, surveillance, and asset tracking sectors, transitioning your academic knowledge into practical, real-world solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Computer Vision Platform & Pipeline Ownership

• Maintain, refactor, and extend the platform Python codebase, including NVIDIA DeepStream pipelines.
• Develop and maintain real-time detection, tracking, region-based logic, and event pipelines.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and reliability under production workloads.
• Debug and resolve runtime issues related to GPU utilization, memory constraints, latency, and throughput.

Edge Device Operations

• Monitor, maintain, and update deployed edge devices.
• Support remote configuration updates, software rollouts, and hotfixes across customer sites.
• Investigate and resolve field issues using logs, metrics, and device telemetry.

Deployment, CI/CD & Scaling

• Work alongside the CI team to design and improve:
• Automated deployment pipelines for edge and cloud components
• Multi-tenant, multi-site deployment strategies
• Environment-specific builds (development, staging, production)
• Contribute to containerization, versioning, and controlled rollout strategies.

Cloud Integration, Logging & Monitoring

• Support integration with AWS-based infrastructure for:
• Centralized logging and metrics collection
• Health monitoring and alerting
• Diagnostics across distributed edge deployments
• Ensure systems are observable, debuggable, and maintainable at scale.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• BSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or in related fields
• Minimum
  1 year
  experience in computer vision and/or deep learning in an academic or industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience maintaining production codebases.
• Solid understanding of computer vision pipelines, including object detection, tracking, and event-based logic.
• Experience deploying and operating real-time computer vision systems in production environments.
• Strong Linux skills, including debugging long-running services and GPU-accelerated workloads.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate with a production-first mindset.
• Hands-on experience deploying models to edge or resource-constrained environments.
• Experience using Docker and modern software delivery workflows.

PREFERRED (NOT MANDATORY)

• Experience with NVIDIA DeepStream, GStreamer, and GPU-accelerated video pipelines.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms
• Exposure to AWS services used for deployment, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience with IP cameras, RTSP streams, MQTT, REST APIs, and backend integrations.
• Understanding of observability concepts (logs, metrics, alerts) in distributed systems.
• Exposure to IoT or large-scale edge device fleets.
