Octane Marketing is seeking a multi-skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, can manage multiple brands, and has strong technical design ability across both digital and print media. Please note, this is an On-site position, based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Identity: Logo design, brand development, CI application, and multi-brand consistency
  • Marketing Design: Social media content, digital ads, emailers, and other campaign assets
  • Editorial & Layout Design: Policy wording, brochures, presentations, pitch decks, and other long-form documents - accuracy is critical
  • Web & Interface Design: Layouts for websites, landing pages, and apps (front-end only)
  • Video & Motion: Basic animation, motion graphics, and light video editing for educational and social content

Note: As a growing agency, the role may expand to include additional creative responsibilities over time.

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or similar
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience (agency or multi-brand environment preferred)
  • Meticulous attention to detail. Accuracy in design and copy placement is essential, especially when working with financial content or policy documentation
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro; XD and Acrobat are a plus)
  • Experience designing for e-learning content (video courses, screen graphics, motion elements)
  • Knowledge of UI design principles and experience creating front-end layouts for websites and apps (no coding required)
  • Strong layout, typography, and digital design skills
  • Excellent time management and communication abilities
