Reservationist – Hospitality

A reputable lodge in Hazyview is looking for a friendly and efficient Reservationist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for customer service. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and ensuring smooth booking and guest experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) essential
• Hospitality or tourism qualification advantageous
• Previous experience in reservations, front office, or guest relations preferred
• Computer literate (MS Office; knowledge of reservation systems an advantage)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, well-spoken, and customer-focused

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all reservation enquiries via phone and email
• Process bookings, confirmations, and guest correspondence
• Update availability and maintain accurate booking records
• Liaise with guests, travel agents, and tour operators
• Work closely with reception and management to ensure seamless guest arrivals
• Provide friendly and professional service at all times
