We're hiring a
Cloud Developer (BI, Tableau & DevOps)
for one of South Africa's leading establishments, where data-driven insights play a central role in strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who enjoys transforming complex data into clear, meaningful analytics. You'll combine your back-end data engineering expertise with advanced Tableau development skills to design and maintain the cloud-based data layers that support enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and optimising ETL processes using SQL to manage data flow across AWS, Redshift, and Snowflake
  • Building robust data models that align with analytical and reporting requirements
  • Managing and provisioning cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
  • Troubleshooting and fine-tuning data warehouse performance
  • Developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards that deliver accurate, actionable insights
  • Collaborating closely with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Ensuring all workflows, models, and reports are well-documented and aligned with best practice standards

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualisation
  • Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases
  • Background in data processing, extraction, transformation, and modelling
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Redshift, and Snowflake environments
  • Familiarity with Terraform and Azure DevOps
  • A solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling
