We are seeking a Foreman (Concrete) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site operations for concrete projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation, safety compliance, and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate concrete site activities per project plans.
  • Manage labour, materials and equipment for optimal productivity.
  • Enforce health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections for quality control and adherence to specifications.
  • Interpret concrete drawings, guide teams and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead toolbox talks, site briefings and safety meetings.
  • Maintain accurate progress reports on site activities and resources.
  • Oversee proper use and maintenance of concrete tools and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve site issues to prevent delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • To be confident and decisive in site management and resolving issues.
  • Results-driven, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Resilient under pressure in demanding site conditions.
  • Strong leadership and communication for teamwork and efficiency.
  • Proactive in optimizing processes and maintaining productivity.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Supervision or Civil Construction Training.
  • Experience: At least 5 - 8 years' relevant experience in Concrete works in the Civil Construction Industry
Advantageous:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction (NQF 5).
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and multiple work phases in complex concrete projects.
