We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper in Centurion to manage the full set of financial books up to Trial Balance using Pastel Evolution.
The role requires accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in processing and recording financial transactions to support audits, inventory management, and business operations.
Position available for 1 Jan 2026 

Minimum requirements:
  • Completed Senior Certificate
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years' bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial statutory requirements and TAX legislation
  • Proficiency in Pastel Evolution (essential).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of concentration
  • Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Independent work ethic – requires limited supervision
  • Excellent organisational skills and methodical approach
  • Strong numeracy and analytical ability.
  • Leadership ability – proven capacity to manage, direct, and motivate creditors and debtors staff.
  • A collaborative mindset, aligned with a high-performance culture where assisting others and driving results are central
  • Technical Skills: Full bookkeeping cycle, VAT, reconciliations, financial reporting, Pastel Evolution
  • Soft Skills & Teamwork: Punctuality, flexibility, adaptability, teamwork, respect for others, positive attitude, clear communication, ability to instruct and lead
  • Compliance: Must pass police clearance, credit score, and financial background checks.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Core Bookkeeping, Inventory & Stock Management, Audit Support & Compliance,Business & Stakeholder Support, Special Projects & Ad Hoc Duties
  • Monday -Friday 07:45 - 16:30 
  • Overtime may be required for month-end, VAT, or compliance deadlines
  • Environment demands high accuracy, high energy, and efficiency
