Are you a skilled Database Administrator ready totake on a challenging and dynamic role? We are looking for a detail -orientedprofessional to join a team, responsible for managing, optimising, andsecuring their database systems across multiple platforms. This is an excellentopportunity to apply your technical expertise, support business -criticalprojects, and develop intelligent reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, maintain, and optimise database systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.Develop advanced reports using Power BI and other reporting tools.Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business analysts to support projects and operational needs.Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end -users on database systems.Install, configure, and upgrade database servers and related applications/tools.Ensure compliance with licensing and vendor requirements.Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain databases, including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. RequirementsNational Diploma or BSc in IT, Computer Science, or related field.+3 years' experience in database administration.Certification in SQL Databases and related technologies.Proficiency in DBMS such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Experience with query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning.Familiarity with cloud -based databases (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Knowledge of database security, encryption, and compliance standards.Python certification advantageous.Skills and Traits:Strong analytical and problem -solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.Independent decision -making and teamwork capabilities.
