PHP Developer Wanted (Mid Level) - Fully Remote

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our backend team. You will be responsible for building robust APIs, optimizing database queries, and maintaining high-quality code using the Laravel framework. If you are passionate about clean architecture and scalable solutions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using PHP 8+ and Laravel.
  • Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for performance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience with PHP and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong proficiency in Laravel (middleware, Eloquent, service providers).
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Proficient with version control tools (Git).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with caching mechanisms (Redis) and Queues.
  • Basic understanding of frontend frameworks , React, or Livewire).
