Are you a finance professional who knows the fast-paced, detail-driven world of hospitality or wine estate operations inside and out? Our client, one of the most respected names in the Winelands, is looking for an exceptional Group Financial Accountant to take full ownership of their finance function. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role where you'll oversee end-to-end financial management including the preparation of management accounts, budgeting, cash flow, cost control, stock-related financial oversight, and the streamlining of reporting across the estate. You will also lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring accurate, timeous outputs that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Job Description:
As the Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Take full ownership of the finance function, including management accounts, budgeting, cash flow management, and consolidated group reporting
Deliver robust financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic insights to support decision-making and enhance profitability
Uphold compliance with all statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
Oversee cash flow and treasury activities while managing key stakeholder relationships
Optimize, maintain, and improve financial systems and tools
Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the finance team to drive performance and operational excellence

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a similar position within the abovementioned industries
Proficiency in Pastel
Excellent communication skills (in both Afrikaans and English)
Team management skills
Completed articles could be advantageous

Qualification:
Completed BCom in Finance or Accounting
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
