PG Bison invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Procurement Analyst, based at our Head Office. This permanent role reports to the Sourcing Specialist and is responsible for delivering analytical insights, supporting sourcing decisions, and enhancing overall procurement performance.



Duties & Responsibilities

Key Focus Areas:

  • Analyse procurement and financial data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and financial models to support category and sourcing strategies.

  • Conduct market intelligence research and assist with vendor evaluation and sourcing activities.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and applicable legislation.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to efficiency and cost-optimisation initiatives.

  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Category teams.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (NQF7) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or cost accounting.

  • Experience with procurement systems, data tools, and reporting platforms (advantageous).
