Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Durban for a Finance Manager at Icebolethu Group. The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, analyze financial data, create budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role includes preparing reports, managing cash flow, overseeing audits, and providing strategic financial advice to senior management to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
  • Experience in Financial Reporting, Auditing, and Regulatory Compliance
  • Proficiency in Accounting Principles and use of Accounting Software
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership skills with experience managing a finance team
  • Ability to develop and implement financial strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional certifications like CPA or CFA are a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
  • Prior experience in the funeral assurance or insurance industries is preferred
