Role Overview
We are seeking a
Ecommerce Specialist
to contribute to PlusBase's expansion in the South African market. This role is best suited for someone with
hands-on ecommerce experience in Dropshipping or Print On Demand
who is ready to leverage their expertise to grow a community of sellers.
Community building and personal branding are
not prerequisites
. You bring the ecommerce expertise, and our growth team will support you in building visibility, influence, and a trusted seller network.
Key Responsibilities
- Seller Acquisition
: Use your experience as a seller to identify, engage, and onboard new merchants. - Seller Development
: Mentor and guide new sellers on how to succeed with ShopBase/PlusBase. - Market Expansion
: Drive adoption in your region by leveraging your ecommerce know-how. - Partnerships
: Collaborate with affiliates, influencers, and partners to expand reach. - Visibility Growth (with our support)
: Co-create content, join livestreams, and strengthen your community presence with dedicated resources from our team.
What We're Looking For
- Essential
: Proven track record in ecommerce, specifically dropshipping or print-on-demand. - Direct experience running or scaling online stores.
- Strong understanding of seller pain points and how to solve them.
- Ability to connect with and earn trust from other sellers.
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and excited about scaling new markets.
Community growth experience is a bonus but not required — we'll help you build it.
