The Fitter& Turner is responsible for the assembly, fitting, and maintenanceof mechanical machinery and components. This hands -on technical roledemands high precision, problem -solving skills, and a strong understanding ofmechanical systems to ensure optimal performance in automated and heavy -dutyenvironments.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanicalAssembly & FittingAssemble and fit mechanical components according to technical drawings and tolerances.Conduct trial runs and alignments to verify precision and functionality of systems.Use appropriate hand tools, machines, and measuring equipment during fitting.Maintenance& RepairsPerform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on machinery and rotating equipment.Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective solutions to minimize downtime.Replace worn parts and carry out adjustments to machinery where necessary.Workshop& Quality SupportCollaborate with machine operators, engineers, and welders to ensure components function as required.Maintain accurate records of all work done and assist in continuous improvement processes.Ensure all activities adhere to quality assurance and safety standards.
