Lead the full Supply Chain Manager function in a high-precision manufacturing environment where your decisions directly shape production performance and customer delivery.

Our client is a long-established engineering manufacturer specialising in high-precision pump components and engineered assemblies for demanding industrial applications. They operate in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment with strong in-house machining, assembly, and technical capability. The team values reliability, continuous improvement, and hands-on leadership across operations.

In this role, you will oversee procurement, vendor management, production planning, stores, assembly, inbound/outbound logistics, and overall supply chain performance. You'll drive forecasting, raw material availability, stock accuracy, the improvement of operational processes, and on-time delivery to customers. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the efficient flow of materials and finished goods.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field (NQF 7).
  • Minimum 5 years supply chain, procurement, or operations leadership within manufacturing/engineering, ideally pumps, machining, or component production.
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, stock control, and production planning expertise.
  • Ability to manage logistics, analyse data, streamline processes, and lead stores/assembly functions.
  • Excellent communication, computer literacy (MS Office), problem-solving, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
