Job Description:
  • Lead and coordinate a structural engineering team through all phases of project delivery
  • Develop innovative, compliant structural designs for major building and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct and review structural analysis and modelling using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Excel
  • Identify potential design risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
  • Provide expert technical support to clients, design teams, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to build strong technical capability across the team
  • Assist with site-related engineering issues and ensure seamless design implementation
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in structural engineering, ideally on large or complex projects
  • Sound knowledge of international standards including ACI, AISC, ASCE
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical design abilities
  • Confident communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Effective leader with strong project management and coordination experience
Qualification:
BEng / BSc / BTech in Civil (Structural) Engineering
Master's in Structural Engineering – preferred
PR Eng registration
 
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
