Pool Academy Aquatics is an international aquatics coaching franchise company headquartered in South Africa, with franchise branches in United Arab Emirates, India and the United Kingdom.

In South Africa, we are based in 2 cities - primarily Durban with 5 branches and 1 current branch in Cape Town.

We are offering successful candidates a chance to teach/ coach Learn To Swim at Pool Academy Aquatics - at our branch in Rondebosch, Cape Town.

This can be a part time position starting immediately.

The successful candidate will also be put through their Swimming Teaching Qualification (if they do not possess one), which will be fully paid for by the company, after fulfilling and succeeding in their role as a coach, within a certain period of time.

The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 15 hours per week hours per month). At a later stage, the successful candidate may be required to work 45 hours per week hours per month) - which is the maximum.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for male and female candidates

  • MUST be from Cape Town

  • Must be able to swim all strokes proficiently

  • Must have excellent communication skills and teaching ability

  • Must have excellent customer service skills

  • Must have organisational and management skills

  • Must be able to work on Monday to Friday (Between 3pm to 8pm)

  • Must be able to work weekend (Saturday and Sundays) between 8am to 6pm

  • Must have own transport/ car

  • Prior competitive swimming experience will be advantageous
