Position Overview:

As a Voice and Network Engineer
at
BullTech Group
, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our telecommunications and network infrastructure. This position requires hands-on experience with
Linux
,
Asterisk
,
FreeSWITCH
,
Kamailio
, and
SIP
, as well as strong
networking
knowledge and a passion for automation and scripting.

You will be responsible for ensuring optimal voice platform performance, scalability, and reliability while also supporting integrations, call routing logic, SIP signaling, and network security. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, analytical, and self-driven — someone who can operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and performance matter.

Key Responsibilites:

Voice Platform Engineering

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, and Kamailio systems.
• Manage SIP trunks, gateways, and call routing logic.
• Develop and maintain dial plans, IVRs, and call control applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot voice quality, signaling, and call-flow issues.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and uptime across the VoIP infrastructure.

Linux Systems & Automation

• Administer and maintain Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Write and maintain automation or monitoring scripts (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Implement logging, alerting, and proactive maintenance for voice and network systems.
• Optimize system performance and resource utilization.

Networking & Security

• Configure and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Work with VLANs, VPNs, NAT, QoS, and network routing protocols.
• Ensure voice traffic integrity, security, and prioritization (SIP ALG, SRTP, TLS, etc.).
• Analyze packet captures and signaling traces using Wireshark or similar tools.

Integration & Support

• Collaborate with development and operations teams on integrations with CRMs, billing systems, or APIs.
• Provide escalation-level support for complex network or voice-related issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a
  Voice Engineer
  ,
  VoIP Engineer
  , or
  Network Engineer
  role.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio
• SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocols
• Linux server administration
• Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
• Experience with scripting or automation (e.g.,
  Bash
  ,
  Python
  ,
  PHP
  or
  Perl
  ).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as
  Zabbix
  , or
  Nagios
  .
• Understanding of
  call flow diagnostics
  ,
  trunk configuration
  , and
  load balancing
  .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
