A High-Performance mine based in the North West has an exciting opportunity for a Production Superintendent - Concentrator The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the plant and operating staff operates effectively according to the agreed business plan and  process parameters in order to meet respective safety and product quality and quantity targets. Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Adherence to the company's Health and Safety Standards
  • Ensure compliance to legislative requirements within area of responsibility
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the safe and cost – effective execution of all metallurgical work ensuring the  achievement of production and quality targets
  • Financial Management (Control costs)
  • People Management
  • Production (Achieve targets)
  • Quality of work
  • Operational Excellence

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate / Grade 12 (Mathematics and Science)
  • Tertiary Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering qualification
  • Computer literate (Word and Excel)  
  • 7 years PGM flotation and Chrome recovery plant experience
  • 4 years supervisory / management experience
  • Code 8 driver's license and own transport (Compulsory)
  • Good administration and housekeeping skills are essential
