The Role: Moderator
This role is dedicated to ensuring a safe and positive user experience on client platforms by moderating user-generated content in accordance with internal and client-specific guidelines. You'll help uphold community standards, provide standard responses when necessary, and contribute to maintaining a high standard of service quality on all assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Moderate content across client platforms in alignment with general and client-specific guidelines
- Adhere to pre-scheduled shifts and complete tasks accordingly
- Use approved templates to engage with users professionally and as instructed by clients
- Escalate serious or sensitive content according to formal protocols (e.g., child safety, threats)
- Collaborate with team members and Project Managers for second opinions when needed
- Provide support to fellow Moderators and offer mentoring to new joiners
- Submit accurate shift reports using project-specific templates
- Stay updated with project changes and communications via email and project management tools
- Report technical issues and provide feedback to Project Managers
- Participate in team meetings and request refresher training when necessary
About You
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are highly advantageous)
- Previous moderation or basic community management experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms and their communities
- Excellent written communication and sound judgment skills
- Confident using technology, with the ability to make quick decisions
- Organized, reliable, and committed to high-quality output
- Able to multitask and work independently within a virtual team setting

- Windows 10 64-bit or macOS 10.15+
- Intel i5 7th Gen or faster 64-bit processor
- Minimum 8GB RAM and 40GB available HDD (SSD preferred)
- Reliable internet (5Mbps download / 1Mbps upload)
- Webcam, headset, and Android/iOS device for two-factor authentication
