Resident Engineer

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer specializing in Structures for a reputable engineering consultancy in Durban.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of structure projects from conception to completion. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and standards. Additionally, you will supervise construction activities, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and monitor project progress.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the construction of structure projects
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and standards
- Supervise construction activities and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, budget, and quality
- Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and other project stakeholders
- B.Sc Eng / B.Eng / B.Tech Eng qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered.
- Minimum 20 years' relevant bridge and structures experience on major road projects.
- SANRAL roads experience.
