Role Overview:

We're looking for a trustworthy and reliable Handyman/Maintenance Assistant to support ongoing projects. The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of maintenance, renovation, and setup and event staging tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general building and equipment maintenance and repairs (painting, carpentry, patchwork, tiling and fittings).

Prepare and clean work areas before and after jobs.

Assist with roof, wall, and paving painting projects using airless spray systems (training provided).

Handle light construction, installations, and minor repairs as needed.

Help set up and dismantle equipment, ladders, and tools safely.

Maintain tools and ensure work areas are organized and safe.

Maintain/clean vehicles

Occasionally assist with materials collection or deliveries.

Requirements:

Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or handyman work preferred.

Reliable, honest, and punctual.

Valid references

Must be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit.

Valid driver's license required

Own transport highly advantageous.

Willing to learn new skills and work independently when required.

Contract Details:

1-Month initial contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and project workload.

Salary R5000 per month.

Immediate start preferred.
