Job Purpose

Direct and guide strategic and professional requirements and procedures to support functional
areas within the department.

Key Responsibility Areas

Participate in managing procedures associated with preparation and collation of contract
documentation and/or evaluating tender applications for variety of works relating to the
department.
Responsible for infrastructure planning within the department.
Participates and supports according to the Municipal Finance Management Practices' output plan.
Executes delegated responsibilities in respect of leading professional project teams from inception to completion of strategic projects and contributes to the identification and development of key internal professional.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Civil Engineering.
Registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
7 Years relevant post registration experience.
