General Worker/Cleaner

As the General Worker and Cleaner you will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of commercial buildings to ensure they are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner. As an office cleaner, you will use cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and assisting with basic office admin.

*Responsibilities will include:*

  • Cleans floors including, vacuuming, mopping floors, sweeping and spot cleaning
  • Cleaning of rest rooms, including restocking dispensers emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals
  • Removing of rubbish from dustbins, including vacuuming, emptying and replacing liners
  • Responsible for cleaning of windows Perform cleaning, dusting, polishing and disinfecting general work areas
  • Supervise third party cleaning services when they are on site
  • Ensure that cleaning stores are kept clean, tidy and stocked ensuring equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times
  • To provide ad hoc, general office admin such as, Filling, archiving, as required.
  • Manage stationery and office inventory

  • Experience in commercial cleaning
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and offered as 100% on-site based at our Kempton Park office.
This is a South Africa based role and the right to live and work in South Africa will need to be established during the recruitment process.
