About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Community & Content Manager to help us grow, engage and protect our thriving community of innovators and leaders. In this pivotal role, you will shape the culture of our platform, celebrating the best of our community while ensuring a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment. 

You'll be the bridge between our members and the organization, driving interaction, highlighting outstanding contributions, and ensuring the community's voice is heard at every level.  You'll also develop and enforce community guidelines, implement moderation processes, and cultivate a space where genuine connections and innovative thinking can flourish.

 This is a unique opportunity to join our founding team and play a central role in building a movement that will have a generational impact.

Key Responsibilities

Community Growth & Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to expand our reach and increase engagement, especially among thought leaders, educators, and academic communities. Platforms include TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and our app.

Content Creation & Curation:  ​​​​​​​Collaborate with the founder and leadership team to create, edit, and publish compelling, educational, and visually engaging content. Highlight meaningful community posts, comments and discussions.

Moderation & Safety: Develop and enforce community guidelines and moderation protocols. Monitor content daily for spam, abuse, or inappropriate behavior and make fair moderation decisions.

Culture Shaping: ​​​​​​​Foster a respectful, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating space where members feel seen and valued. Celebrate diverse perspectives and highlight exceptional contributions.

Community Event Leadership: ​​​​​​​Plan and host virtual events that bring members together around shared interests and topics relevant to leadership, education and innovation.

Community Health & Analytics: Track key metrics, analyze trends, and share insights to support community growth and optimization.

Collaborative Outreach:

Build relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and partner orgs to amplify our mission.

Product & Marketing Collaboration:

Work closely with product and marketing teams to enhance community features, flag risks, and keep the member experience at the heart of development.

About You
  • Deeply familiar with online culture and passionate about innovation, leadership, and social impact.
  • ​​​​​​​You have experience in or a strong affinity with educational or academic environments, you understand how to communicate with this audience and can speak their language.
  • Experienced in growing and managing online communities (Discord, Reddit, Twitter/X, or in-app).
  • Calm, fair, and proactive in encouraging participation and moderating conversations.
  • Skilled in short-form video editing, visual storytelling, and digital engagement.
  • Organized, proactive, and cross-functional.
  • Experience with moderation tools or trust & safety frameworks is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial drive.
