3,Sysprog Engineer,Time & Material,Onsite - Jo'berg,8-10 years,,"1) Software Management: Install, customize, upgrade, and maintain the operating system and third-party software on the mainframe.

2) Problem Resolution: Diagnose, isolate, and debug software and system problems, analyze memory dumps, and implement solutions to resolve issues.

3) Performance Tuning: Conduct regular performance evaluations, system tuning, and capacity planning to ensure the system operates at optimal levels and meets service level agreements.

4) Security and Data Integrity: Implement and manage security measures to protect the system and data, and ensure the integrity of databases and system logs.

5) Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and jobs to streamline system operations and reduce manual intervention.

6) Technical Support & Collaboration: Provide technical support to users, other support teams, and clients, and collaborate with administrators and other programmers to resolve issues.

7) System Upgrades: Plan and execute system-wide hardware and software upgrades, including integration testing of new products.

8) Disaster Recovery: Participate in planning and executing disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

9) Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation for system software, usage instructions, and training materials for operators and programmers.

10) Monitoring: Monitor system performance, capacity, and security, including database activities and logs. ","1) Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of mainframe operating systems (e.g., z/OS) and associated programming languages.
