Inventory Clerk

Key purpose:

Maintain stock accuracy, ensuring product put away and picking stock available in the CDC.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Perpetual and Month Stock Counts - Main and Reverse logistics
• SAVs done daily and correct
• Warehouse Stock Rotation is executed (FIFO)
• Mitigate write-off of old stock
• Improve stock integrity
• Investigate stock variances
• Contribute to the improvement of the warehouse Out of Stock situation
• Ensure received stock store timeously and efficiently
• Ensure the right stock is available for picking
• Improve internal customer service
• Correct stock availability
• Stock Write off reduction
• Stock damage in CDC reduction and identify areas to improve
• Reduce stock losses
• Identify Improvement areas
• Share interventions to improve stock accuracy

Qualifications and experience:

• A Logistics/Supply Chain Tertiary Qualification
• 2 year Inventory Control experience
• Forklift/Reach Truck license -Advantageous
