About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Manager
to lead our rope access operations team in
Durban
. This senior role requires an individual with strong leadership, solid technical expertise, and a proven track record in rope access management.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with IRATA standards, and maintain our company's reputation for professionalism, safety, and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor rope access teams across multiple projects.
  • Ensure all work is performed in full compliance with IRATA and company safety procedures.
  • Conduct and review risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.
  • Oversee site audits, toolbox talks, and inspections.
  • Plan and coordinate manpower, logistics, and project scheduling.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Uphold documentation and reporting standards.
  • Enforce discipline, safety, and performance expectations across all staff.

Requirements:

  • Valid
    IRATA Level 3 certification
    (essential).
  • Minimum
    5 years' rope access experience
    , including
    2+ years in a management or supervisory role
    .
  • Strong understanding of rope access regulations, safety systems, and industry best practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when required.
