Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lightning Keeper at Sypher Tech located in Pretoria. The Lightning Keeper will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the functionality and efficiency of lightning protection systems. Daily tasks include regular inspections, repairs, upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role also involves detailed documentation of maintenance activities and collaboration with other departments to ensure the seamless operation of lightning protection installations.

Qualifications

• Experience with lightning protection systems and electrical maintenance
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations related to electrical systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system repairs
• Ability to conduct detailed inspections and maintain accurate documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications in electrical or lightning protection systems
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
