Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid Graduate Engineer role located in Midrand, with the flexibility to work remotely. The successful candidate will assist in the design, documentation, and implementation of EC&I systems, conduct research and analysis to support innovative engineering solutions, and provide technical support during project execution. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with teams to ensure project alignment, participating in on-site supervision activities, and assisting in the calibration and testing of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, including Motor Control Centres (MCCs), electrical distribution systems, and electrical reticulation
  • Experience or familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and control system design
  • Understanding of instrumentation installation, specification, and calibration
  • Keen interest or experience in renewable energy solutions, particularly solar PV and energy storage systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools and familiarity with project documentation processes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Ability to work independently and within a diverse team
  • Willingness to travel for project requirements
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
