Job Description
Forvis Mazars, a leading international audit, tax and advisory services firm, has a challenging opportunity available in our IT department based in Gqeberha/PE. The person would be tasked with providing a support service to ensure that PCs (IT equipment), telephones, printers, cell phones and equipment are functioning optimally at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support
  • Resolve and close IT incidents
  • Escalate unresolved incidents
  • Follow up on unresolved incidents
  • Setup new PCs for users and ensure that they are functional
  • Assist with the administration of the intranet
  • Provide user support training and coaching
  • Liaise with suppliers with regards to IT equipment
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a desktop support environment within a corporate environment
  • Grade 12 qualification plus A+/N+/MCTS qualification
  • Skilled in the resolution of PC hardware problems
  • Skilled in the resolution of operating systems and application software problems
  • Be proactive
  • Focus on providing high levels of customer service
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • High levels of quality and detail orientation
  • Be able to cope with pressures and setbacks
