Senior C++/Qt Engineer – Mission-Critical Embedded UI

We're looking for a
Senior C++/Qt Engineer
to lead development of a new operator UI for a next-generation, mission-critical electro-mechanical platform. The system runs on an
NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin
, handles
GigE video
, and interfaces with multiple real-time subsystems.
What You'll Do:
- Build a modern
Qt/QML UI
for embedded Linux - Integrate a
GigE Vision
video stream with low latency - Work with
real-time constraints
and high-reliability design - Interface with hardware via
CAN bus (J1939 a plus) - Collaborate closely with our embedded & systems teams on-site
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years C++
(modern C++) - Strong
Qt/QML
experience - Embedded Linux (Jetson experience ideal)
- Multithreading, performance optimisation
- Background in
defence/robotics/mission-critical software
a strong advantage
Nice to Have:
- GStreamer / GPU-accelerated pipelines
- UI/UX intuition for operator interfaces
