Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer, located in Nelspruit. The Engineer will be responsible for supervision of fuel related project, i.e. product pipeline, tanks construction and maintenance as well as related work as and when requred. The Engineer ought to be proficent in the design, modeling and drafting of the same systems for bulk storage depots and retsil sites.

Daily tasks will include the construction project management of these projects, weekly reporting, project documentation, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring project specifications and timelines are met.

Skilla and Qualifications

  • Mechanical engineering design, modelling, (including piping and instrumentstion diagrams) for product pipelines, storage tanks and equipment;
  • Proficiency in BIM and CAD;
  • Project Management experience;
  • Research and Development (R&D) experience;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills;
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
  • Relevant certifications and prior work experience in engineering consulting are beneficial.
